Alfred "Al" Felici, age 98, passed away on Saturday April 1, 2023 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
He was born in Wheeling, WV on October 28, 1924, son of the late Alfred and Madellana Felici.
He was a graduate of Wheeling High School and a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor of Science Degree. While attending Marietta College he was a Letterman for both the football and basketball teams.
He was a WWII veteran having served as a US Air Force Flight engineer. Upon completion of his military service he began a long career with Byrum Construction Company and ultimately became the Owner / President of the Firm.
In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil, Jess and Angelo Felici; sister, Josephine Johnston, Mary John and great grand daughter Lilian Felici.
He is survived by his wife Mary F. "Francie" (Hughes) Felici; daughter, Stephanie Richards; son, Brian (Nancy) Felici; grandsons, Garrett Richards, Jason (Jessica) Felici, Derek (Joanna) Felici; great grandsons, Elijah and Noah Felici and great granddaughters, Emma, Anna, Lucia and Mia Felici.
The family would like to acknowledge the Good Shepherd Nursing Home staff for the outstanding care that Al received during his stay.
At Al's request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
