Bernard "Ray" Elliott Sr., 86, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Weirton Medical Center.
Ray was born on October 1, 1936, in Wellsburg, WV. Son of the late Bernard C. and Doris Charlton Elliott.
He is preceded in death by his sister JoAnn Hornick (Bob- deceased), brothers Harold Elliott and Lawrence Elliott.
Husband of Lela (Lee) Elliott whom he married September 24, 1976. They were married for 46 years. Father of Karen (Chip) Kirtchner and Bernie (Angie) Elliott. Grandchildren include Rachael (fiance Ryan Brown) and Rebecca (fiance Michael Hoder) Kirchner, Justin and Courtney Elliott. Surviving is sister Wilma (Gary) Roth, brother Charles (Wanda) Elliott, sister-in-law Linda Elliott and Nancy Elliott. Uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Retired employee of Equitable Life Insurance and Ohio Edison Power (Sammis Plant) in Stratton, OH.
Visitation will be April 13, 2023, from Noon until the time of service at 4 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV with Pastor Jim Seabright officiating.
