Dolores Jo "Cissy" Mack, 93, of Winston Salem, NC, formerly of Wellsburg, WV, died peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Brighton Gardens of Winston Salem, NC.
Born on July 17, 1929 in Wellsburg, WV, a daughter of the late Bolek "BJ" and Garnett (Norris) Winski.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 10 brothers and sisters.
Dolores graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1947 and received her BA in Education from West Liberty University and later received her Master's in Education from West Virginia University. She taught 4th grade in Brooke County Schools for over 20 years.
Dolores was Catholic by faith. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her family and playing bridge with her local bridge club friends in Wellsburg, WV.
She is survived by three devoted sons, Robert E. (Robyn) Mack Jr., Douglas (Mary) Mack and Steve (Carolyn) Mack, all of Winston Salem, NC; seven grandchildren, Sean (Marie) Mack, Todd (Maria) Mack, Corey (Brittany) Mack, Robert E. (Carrie) Mack, III, Eric Mack, Kelli (Mitch) Covert, Austin Mack and companion, Devin Koehler; along with seven great-grandchildren, Samuel, Avalyn, Harrison, Bryce, Adley, Lucy, Rosie; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Dolores will be held on Wednesday, April 5 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy of the Word at noon at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV, with the Rev. Fr. Larry Dorsch officiating.
Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, WV.
