Ella Ann Kimble, age 92, of Moundsville, WV, formerly of New Martinsville, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, at WVU Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born April 23, 1930, in McConnellsville, OH, the daughter of the late Carlos and Monna Alice (Sutton) Kendle.
Ella was a member of Hillview Terrace Church of Christ and Pine Street Church of Christ; she was always active in church; loved to travel; enjoyed Sarah's dogs; and was very helpful, kind and caring to people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Franklin Kimble; a daughter, Monna Alice Kimble; a brother, Melvin Kendle, and a sister Lucille Finley.
Survivors include three children; Lyle Franklin (Becky) Kimble, Jr of Peach Tree City, GA; Rebecca Sue (Johnny) Weekley of Paden City, WV, and Sarah Ann Kimble, of Moundsville; two grandchildren, Lyle Franklin (Melissa) Kimble, III, of Smyrna, GA and Tifny Jo (Brian) McFadden, of Newnan, GA; two great grandchildren Charlie & Cameron; Sarah's dogs, Rusty and Anna; her dear friend, Marilyn Martin; and her best friend of 83 years, Sarah Johnson.
Family will receive friends on Friday 10am until time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third Street, New Martinsville with Evangelist Andy Robison officiating.
Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City.
