Gabriel "Gabe" Vincent White, 20, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born on May 16, 2002 in Wheeling.
Gabe was a Deck Hand for Bellaire Harbor Services, a boy scout, and past attendee of Trinity United Methodist of Glenville, WV. He was a graduate of Gilmer County High School in Glenville, WV.
Gabe was an avid music enthusiast, loved sports, board/ video games, skateboarding, drawing, air soft, swimming, hiking, camping and being in the woods. He enjoyed learning random facts, sports stats and about history.
Gabe had a great sense of humor and excellent timing, wit and told some wicked Dad jokes. He loved kids and was looking forward to someday being a Dad. He spent much of his time hanging out with family and friends. He spent everyday working to be drama free and living his best life. He is loved and will be dearly missed by many.
Gabe was preceded in death by his grandparents, John M. White, Ray A. Watts Sr. and Lillie M. Watts, Douglas E. Daniels; great- grandparents, Edna L. White, Nettie M. Sovich, Harry Bilinsky, and; uncles, Sean M. Wycherley, David K. White; and cousin, C. Donald "Doni" Nickerson.
Gabe's surviving family members include, parents, Mike (Heather) White of Wheeling, WV, Annette (Ray) Watts of Glenville, WV; four brothers, Christopher A. (Jamie Beegle) White of Martins Ferry, OH, Alexander M. (Hannah Mazon) White of Ames, IA, Garrett E. Watts of Glenville, WV, and Karma T. Hughes of Wheeling, WV; and sister, Alauna R. (Monty Dowler) Watts of Parkersburg, WV; grandparents, Penny Calmbacher of Benwood, WV, Debra (Jeff) Mercer of Moundsville, WV, and Ervin (Judith) Hughes of Columbus, OH; uncles, Bryan (Dana) Daniels of Benwood, WV, Shad (Chelsea Drader) Daniels of Bismarck, ND, Cody Wycherley of Benwood, WV, and Uncle Jenny and Curtis Whorton of Moundsville, WV; and several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 5 2023 at 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV.
