Lisa J. Tappe, age 60, of Warwood passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Liza's Place, Wheeling.
She was born October 11, 1962 in Glen Dale, WV the daughter of Robert Simons of Glen Dale and the late Madelyn Burgess Simons.
Lisa was an inspector and former permit specialist for the City of Wheeling and a long time active member of Warwood United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed music, reading and was a volunteer at the House of The Carpenter.
In addition to her father, survivors include her husband Jeff Tappe; one son, Bobby Tappe of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters, Dana Simons of Glen Dale, Denise (Rob) Kinnick of Mt. Olivet and Leslie (Rick) Dunst of Washington, PA; one brother, Bob (Amy) Simons of Wheeling and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, WV where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Heather Rogers and Rev. Mike Linger officiating.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
