Margaret "Peggy" Louise Dorsey McCulley, 89, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born February 22, 1934, in Moundsville, WV, daughter of the late Clyde and Goldie Kurfmann Dorsey.
Peggy was a former salesperson at Upton Gifts, Wheeling, WV and a member of Stone Presbyterian Church where she was a past elder & member of session. She also belonged to the mansion committee at Oglebay Institute and Mary Dorcas Washington Questers.
She loved her church, attending Wheeling Symphony functions, traveling all over the world, and walking her dog, Fuzzy at Oglebay Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, John "Jack" S. McCulley; sister, Doris Defibaugh; grandson, Joshua Dereck Parkison; and son-in-law, Cliff Parkison.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Morgan) Haning; son, Brian G. McCulley; grandson, Alex Parkison; faithful companion, Fuzzy; sister, Clara Robinson; and several nieces & nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 12-2 PM & 5-7 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (#304-242-2311) and on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM at Stone Presbyterian Church, 25 East Cove Avenue, Wheeling, WV with Pastor Christina Kestner officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery.
