MARY “CHRIS” KOCH

She was born December 4, 1957, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Richard W. and Joan Elizabeth White Koch, Sr.

Chris was a retired Vice President of Integration Management with Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH and was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.

She loved to travel, garden, make friends, and volunteer with Catholic charities. The beach was her home away from home. Chris was the kindest, most caring individual who had never met a stranger.

Chris is survived by 2 brothers, John “Buck” Edward (Barbara) Koch & Richard W. Koch, Jr.; sister, Judi Lynn (Dana) Kalinski; 6 nieces & nephews, Evan Koch, Allie (Pete) Nanney, Richard W. (Jennifer) Koch III, Julie (David) White, Cameron (Cayla) Kalinski & Alyssa Kalinski; 4 great- nephews; 1 great- great-nephew; 3 aunts; her dog, Blaze; and a host of friends.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (#304-242-2311). Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Chapel Hill Road, Triadelphia, WV 26059. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
