Robert John "Bob" Shutler Jr., 72, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at his residence.
Bob was born on December 30, 1950 in Wheeling, son of the late Robert John Shutler Sr. and Pearl Isabelle (Nolte) Shutler.
He was a retired Millwright for Ormet, avid hunter and fisherman, loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, and was a US Navy Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William "Billy" Frank Shutler.
Surviving are his children, Lori Ann (Joe) Marcinek of Glen Dale, WV and Rob (Antoinette) Shutler of Wheeling; sister, Janet Shutler of Wheeling; three granddaughters, Melanie Kettlewell of Glen Dale, Robbie (Robert) Stern of Wheeling and Kayla Kettlewell of McMechen, WV; great-grandson, Granger Stern; niece, Jennifer (Tom) Turkington of NC and nephews, Joey (Nikki) Andlinger and their children, Adam & Ally Andlinger and nephew, Jarrod Andlinger of Wheeling.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11am with Msgr. Chidiac officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
