Ruth Ann Prager, 75, of New Cumberland, WV passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023. She was born December 11, 1947, in Wheeling, WV. The daughter of the late Lawrence and Phyllis Smythe Cribbs. She was also preceded in death by two sons, David and Derek Prager. Ruth was a Nazarene by faith. She retired from Weirton Medical Center as a transporter. Surviving is her husband of 58 years, John Prager, Sr.; sons, John Prager, Jr., Jason Prager; grandchildren, Kayla Reese (Lester), Katlyn Harris, Scotty Prager, Bryon Prager, Brandon Prager, Isabella Prager, Allison Prager; great grandchildren, Lucian and Kayla, Simya, Aubrey, Anthony; sister Nelly; brother, Lawrence Merle Cribbs, Jr. (Debbie). Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 26, 2023, at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV where the funeral will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Kevin L. Bowers presiding. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery – Haven of Rest, Colliers, WV.
