Alice Fay Winland, age 89, of Lynn Camp, WV; our beautiful mom left us to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her daughter's home in Cameron, WV, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 11, 1934 in Lynn Camp, WV the daughter of the late Cyrus and Laura Gouldsberry Young.
She was a member of Lynn Camp Methodist Church; a retired employee from Mar- shall County Schools, having worked over 20 years as a cook, bus driver and teacher's aide; was loved and respected by all who knew her; she enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family; loved cows; enjoyed cooking, flow- ers, and bowling; and she always gave wise and biblical advice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cork Winland; a son, Cyrus "Cy" Winland; a daughter, Vicki Calissie; a son-in-law, David Stewart; a grandson, Isaac Stewart; two brothers; two sisters; and two brothers-in-law.
Survivors include four daughters, Becky (Danny) O'Neil, Tammy (Jeff) Cumpston, Robin Stewart, and Jody Woods; a son- in-law, Tim Calissie; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great-grand- children; two great- greatgrandchildren and one on the way; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Young and Susie Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11am with Danny O'Neil officiating.
Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.
