Catherine Marie Pelliccione (Greco), loving Mother and grandmother, peacefully departed into Heaven on Monday, May 15th 2023 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV with family present. Born on November 24th, 1920, to Samuel and Josephine Greco in Weirton, WV, she was a feisty 102 years young.
Catherine graduated from Catholic Central High School, Steubenville, and Ruth Brant School of Nursing in Martin Ferry, Ohio, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed for 29 years, retiring from St. Johns Hospital, Steubenville, Ohio, where she fervently loved her work in the Pediatrics department .
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Andrew James Pelliccione, a local contractor in Weirton, brothers Domenic (Ann), Frank Greco (Anna), and sister Margaret Monfred (Thomas) and niece, Dr. Francine Greco Kirchner.
Left to remember her with love and admiration are her daughters JoAnn Pelliccione Burnetta of Weirton, Kathy Pelliccione Shultz (Paul Belli) with whom she resided in Wheeling, her only grandson, Michael Andrew Shultz, who she absolutely, lovingly adored along with many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date, per her family's request.
