Coley Beachum Dize Jr., 66, of Moundsville, West Virginia, formerly of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. He was born on May 3, 1957, to the late Coley Beachum Dize, Sr. and Edna Mae (Shuler) Dize. He was married 28 years to his loving wife, Sharon Bell-Dize who predeceased him.
Coley's career touched on all phases of the automotive industry. He started out as a young man selling tires. He then tried his hand at selling cars and found out he was quite good at it. Through the years he worked his way up through management in the Southern Automotive Group, and most recently served as a consultant to the automotive industry at ES3.
He is survived by a son, Jodi Bell (Ranae), of Rock Falls, Illinois; three daughters, Dacia Hutchison (Bob) of Milledgeville, Illinois, Elisha Carl (Mike) of Wheeling, West Virginia, and Jennifer Dize of Easton, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grand- children; two nieces, Kimberly Thompson (Gary) of Cartersville, Virginia, and Christien Hadley of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a nephew, Robert Wise, Jr., of Cumberland, Virginia, and his two beloved dogs, Gracie and Bentley. The family would like to thank special friends Dan and Stacie Magers, Denise Huggins, Marlyn Dague, and Kathy Jura.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Mary Kathleen Wise, Donna Marie Palmer and Colleen Barrett Dize.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Dale United Methodist Church, 700 Wheeling Avenue, Glen Dale, West Virginia. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the House of the Carpenter, 200 South Front Street, Wheeling, West Virginia.
