Richard C. Highwart, 69, died peacefully at Continuous Care Center on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
He was born July 5, 1953, in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late Bea & Tom Highwart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Mary M. Meadows; and great-niece, Gia.
Richard is survived by sister, Jeri Lea (Phillip) Holmes; brother, Chris (Janice) Highwart; 6 nieces, Stephanie (Lance) Goff, Lauren (Joey) Bartolo, Christie Highwart, April Glidden, Stacy Meadows & Joselyn Meadows; 3 great-nieces, Bella, Sadie & Lilliana; and a great-nephew, Michael.
Friends will be received on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732) with Mr. Ryan Parsons officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christ, 1310 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.
