Caroline Elizabeth Kirkpatrick, age 85, a life-long resident of Morton Avenue, Moundsville, WV died Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
She was born November 28, 1937 in Glen Dale, the daughter of the late Clayton William and Sadie Rine White.
She was retired from Reynolds Memorial Hospital; a graduate of Moundsville High School; a member of 1st Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Eastern Star #86, where she served as Past Worthy Matron; and a VFW and American Legion Auxiliary Member.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Kirkpatrick; and a brother, Raymond White.
Survivors include a son, Clayton "John" (Cindi) White of Moundsville; two grandchildren, Jade (Jake) Santonas of Moundsville and Brittany (Jared) Newman of Morgantown, WV; three great-great grandchildren, Monroe and Sawyer Santonas and Maddie Newman; a sister-in-law, Judy White; and nieces and nephews, Danny, Patricia and Nina.
Private graveside services and interment will be held by the family at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard with Pastor Jonathan Moon officiating.
