D. June Moore of Wheeling died on Thursday June 1, 2023 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born on April 16, 1935 in Calis, WV daughter of the late Denton and Beulah (Dague) Riggle.
June was a Methodist by faith and she worked at Wesbanco for 37 years until her retirement in 1997.
The joy of June's life were her puppies. From the time she and her husband owned a home, they had puppies until she moved to Welty.
Another pleasure of June's were her cookbooks. She would read those books by the hour. She was a good cook and made delicious desserts.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold "John" Moore in 1997; brother, Dale Riggle, three sisters, Roberta Edge, M. Jean Dague and Carrol Cooper.
She is survived by her two nephews and three nieces.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 11 am at West Alexander Cemetery, West Alexander, PA.
