Margaret Lee "Peg" Wayne Moore, 94, of Plano, TX, formerly of Triadelphia, WV, passed away on May 23, 2023 in Plano, TX.
She was born May 5, 1929 in Reader, WV to the late Okey and Edna Hawkins Wayne.
Peg obtained her Masters degree from West Virginia University. She taught for over 40 years, most of which and finishing at the former Sherrard Elementary in Sherrard, WV. She was a member of Mar-Win Church of the Nazarene in Wheeling, WV and attended the Richardson Church of the Nazarene in Richardson, TX.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Edward H. Moore, in 1986; her sister, Shirley Ruth Glendenning in 2002; and her daughter, Nicola Terek, in 1988.
She is survived by her son Guy Moore and daughter-in-law Tiffany Moore in TX; her grandchildren Jodi, Steve, and John from WV; her grandchildren Carson, Charley, and Cooper from TX; and longtime friends, Florence & Pastor Sonny Croft.
Friends and family will be received Sunday June 4, 2023 from 3pm till the time of service at 5pm at Kepner Funeral Home 166 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV 26003 (304- 242-2311).
Interment at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
