Throughout his career, he continually studied and achieved insurance credentials including an Associate in Underwriting degree and finally the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation. The sale of Alfred Paull caused John to leave West Virginia and continue insurance underwriting at Traveler's and Donegal Mutual Insurance Companies. In 2000 upon returning to Wheeling to be closer to family, John worked at Steele Insurance, St. Clairsville, OH and A & B Auto, now Benwood, WV. Finally he joined Paull Associates in Wheeling from where he retired in 2018. Family, friends and co-workers as well as clients knew they always could count on John.
