Melissa "Missy" Elizabeth Nuzum Forte, 71, of Wheeling, WV, died Saturday, July 8, 2023 at home.
She was born January 24, 1952, daughter of the late William "Bill" and Gloria Rogerson Nuzum.
Missy was a 1969 graduate of Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy and a graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and supervisor of nursing at Wheeling Hospital.
Missy loved life, had a great sense of humor and was very proud of her son, Bradley, who is a national touring musician.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rhea Rogerson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Honor "Bud" Forte, Jr.; son, Bradley Forte; sisters, Michele Keil of Mentor, OH and Kim Lawrence of Longboat Key, FL; brother, William Bradley "Brad" Nuzum of Bradenton, FL; best friend, Rhonda Temeles; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
