Zeik D. Auvil, age 65, of Wheeling, WV passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at WVU-Wheeling Hospital.
He was born March 14, 1958 in Wheeling, son of the late Emwood Doyle "Zeik" and Bettie Freeman Auvil.
Zeik was a retired operator for Quigley's Recycling, a member of Wheeling Eagles and a Baptist by Faith. He enjoyed tinkering with things and fixing cars.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnnie and David Meadows and two sisters, Mary DeFilippis and Rosetta Shelek.
Survivors include four sisters, Alice Mills of Beckley, WV, Beth Featherly of NC, Tacy (Michael) Balkcom of Adairsville, GA and his twin sister, Zelda Kuthy of Triadelphia, WV and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
