David Roland Eisenhauer, 36, of Graysville, PA, passed away at home on August 8, 2023, due to complications of Type 1 Diabetes. David was born in Daytona Beach, FL on May 6, 1987. He grew up in Charleston, WV and attended George Washington High School. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mining Engineering at West Virginia University and held several managerial positions with coal mining companies in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. R. Edward Hamrick and Eileen and Charles Eisen- hauer.
David is survived by his parents, Emma Hamrick Eisenhauer of Charleston, WV, and C. Nicholas Eisenhauer III, of Port Orange, FL, his sister, M. Elizabeth Eisenhauer of Graysville, PA, and brothers, C. Nicholas Eisenhauer IV, MD (Danielle) of Marshall, Minnesota, and Michael A. Eisenhauer (Natalie) of Morgantown, WV.
Funeral will be on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 at Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1114 Virginia St., Charleston WV. Visitation will begin one hour prior at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
