Lane Scott Bohrer, age 84, of Clarington, OH, passed away Wednesday August 9, 2023, at WVU Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV
He was born May 31, 1939, in New Martinsville, WV to Earl and Lucille (Leap) Bohrer.
He was a retired Crane Operator at Ormet with 42 years of service. Lane was a United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Shirley Day, and Earleen Bohrer; a brother Niles Bohrer.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Bohrer; son Darren (Kelly) Bohrer of New Martinsville; stepdaughter: Jodi (Watson) Blakenship of Columbus, OH; 3 grandsons, Ryan Bohrer, Ethan Bohrer, and Geordan Bates; 2 brothers Gary (June) Bohrer of Columbus, OH and Dana (Mary Claire) Bohrer of Sistersville, WV; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
