Michael Charles Hazlett, 60, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 peacefully at home.
He was born March 10, 1963, in Glen Dale, the son of the late Dennis and Florence Irene (Stackpole) Hazlett. Mike loved the land and spent his life farming. He was an avid Marx Toys collector.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grand- parents.
Mike is survived by his sister Loretta (Craig Guenther) Wallace of Hamilton, OH; two children, Ethan (Jamie) Hazlett and Jenny (Jarett) Blake; one grandson, Landry Blake; his loving dog, Scruffy and his cats.
Family and friends will be received Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12 pm until time of service at 1 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Benwood- McMechen Chapel, 114 Marshall Ave. Interment will be held at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
