Michael N. "Mike" Tenley, age 70, of McMechen, WV died Tuesday, August 8, 2023 in Rolling Hills Rehabilitation & Care Center, Bridgeport, OH.
He was born May 11, 1953 in McMechen.
He was a graduate of Bishop Donahue High School and West Liberty State College; a member of Sierra Club; an advocate for the Environment; an avid outdoorsman; and he was always there for his kids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Tenley; a sister, Pamela Collins; and a brother-in-law, Morris Ray.
Survivors include his loving and devoted mother, Ann Supan Tenley of McMechen; a son, Michael (Amber) Tenley of Wheeling, WV; a daughter, Heather (John Edge) Tenley of Moundsville; three sisters, Kathy (Dwight) Daugherty of Martinsburg, WV, Linda Curia of Atlanta, GA, and Marybeth Ray of Columbia, MO; a brother-in-law, Brian Collins of Powhatan, OH; five grandchildren, Jasmine Edge, Christian Edge, Elianna Tenley, Casen Tenley, and Addy Tenley; his true love, his cat Smokey; and numerous nieces and nephews
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
