Carol Ann Seamon Thomas, 86, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday September 27, 2023 at her home.
She was born December 1, 1936, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Edward "Bob' Elmer and Lucy Mae Staib Seamon.
She was a retired Secretary for the Wheeling Christian Day Care Center and an active member of The National Road Church of Christ in Wheeling, where she loved to sing.
Carol loved The Lord, reading, gardening & traveling to the beach. She was a very caring person whose life revolved around her family, her friends, and her church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Richard "Dick" Earl Thomas; 4 children, Richard Lee (Loree) Thomas of Wheeling, WV, Michael Edward (Beth) Thomas of Wheeling, WV, James Brian "J.T." (Beth) Thomas of Columbus, OH & Beth Ellen (Randy) Nichols of Columbus, OH; 9 grandchildren, Erin, Megan, Lauren, Alex, Tiffany, Jordan, Michael, Jenna & Madison; 9 great- grandchildren; special son, Rico (Dena) Cox of Cleveland, OH; brother, Edward Thomas (Linda) Seamon; and 2 nephews, John Seamon and Eric (Thushara) Seamon.
Friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM at The National Road Church of Christ, 1310 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003 with Minister John Wright & Minister Ryan Parsons officiating.
