JOHN DUSCI

John Elliot Dusci, 89, a devoted husband, loving father, and skilled electrician, passed away after a long illness on September 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wheeling, WV, to Gasper and Bertha (LaCava) Dusci.

John graduated from Wheeling High School and served as a veteran in the Navy. He dedicated much of his life to his work as an electrician with IBEW Local 141. John took pride in his work but was even more proud to be a father and grandfather. John found joy in spending time with his family, taking walks at Oglebay Park and tackling construction projects. John was a man who believed in hard work and lived an honorable life.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Carol (Dailey) Dusci, and their three children: Dan Dusci, Karen (Steve) Dusci- Famoso, and Doug (Jeanette) Dusci. He will be deeply missed by his seven grandchildren: Dr. Justin (Leah) Famoso, Amanda (Frank) Hewitt, Cassie Famoso, Kristin (Brad) McPeek, Jade Dusci, Megan Dusci, and Ava Dusci as well as 6 great grandchildren.

A private service to honor John's life, including full Military Honors, will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
