Lois "Pidge" (Biery) Fleming, 88, of Wheeling died on Tuesday September 19, 2023 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born on December 10, 1934 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Bob and Gene Biery.
She was a graduate of Mount de Chantal Academy. Pidge was a retired secretary of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steele and Ohio County Schools. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Pidge was an avid golfer and a member of both Oglebay and Wheeling Park Women's Golf Associations. She participated in many local and state golf tournaments.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard H. Fleming in 1996 and a sister Wanda Rusmisel.
Survivors include two step-children, Judy Wright of Wintersville, OH, Richard Fleming, Jr. of Wheeling and niece, Cynthia Rusmisel.
Her good friends would like to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home for their compassionate care.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 2 - 7 pm at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd., Wheeling (304-232- 2732). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 10 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1225 National Rd., Wheeling.
Entombment will follow at the Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
