Richard Ritz Miller Sr., 86 of Follansbee, WV, died on Sunday at his home in the presence of his family.
Richard was born on September 22, 1936 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late John Miller and Josephine (Ritz) Miller.
Richard served in the United States Army and was a member of the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ. Richard worked for the United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier in addition to being a carpenter building homes. Many will remember Richard for his enjoyment of hunting, fishing and farming; but most of all, his spirit of charity.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his five siblings, John, Virginia DuBois, Juanita Kennedy and Bill and Donald Miller.
Richard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Leonie (Janz) Miller, three children, Richard Ritz Miller Jr. (Robbin), Donald Michael Miller and Michelle Morton (Jamie), four grandchildren, Megan Miller, Richard R. Miller III, Jaime Morton and John Morton and numerous nieces and nephews.
