Susan Ann Sorge, beloved sister, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2023, at WVU-Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. She was born on January 26, 1955, in her hometown of Wheeling, WV.
Susan dedicated much of her life to her work as a bookkeeper and office manager with the Reisbecks Corporation. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Outside of work, Susan found joy in bowling and indulged herself in the pleasure of reading.
Susan was a faithful member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, where she found solace and strength in her spirituality. Her devotion to her faith was an integral part of her life and brought her comfort throughout the years.
Susan will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Malcolm Russell and Patsy Lou (West) Sorge, as well as her brothers Keith, Mack, and Tim Sorge. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, John Sorge of Wheeling, WV, Janice (Michael) Mirides of Clovis, CA, and Mary (Mark) Beaver of Wheeling, WV. Additionally, she leaves behind several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
A memorial visitation to honor Susan's life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12:00pm, until the time of Vigil at 2:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home located at 1400 Eoff Street in Wheeling, WV.
