William "Bill" Paul Spielvogel, age 71, of Wheeling, WV passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at home.
He was born January 28, 1952 in Wheeling.
Bill was a retired coal miner at Shoe- maker Mine with 40 years of service. He was a former representative and member of UMWA, an avid WVU fan and a Protestant by Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Spielvogel; mother, Pauline Reynolds Spielvogel Stackhouse and one grandson, Bailey Spielvogel.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, JoAnn Pasden Spielvogel; daughter, Linnea (Frank) Kennen of Wheeling; son, Jona- than (Sarah) Spielvogel of New Market, MD; two grandchildren, Taylor and Alexander Spielvogel; two sisters, Lynette Derrow of Wheeling and Lennis (Monty) Murphy of Avella, PA; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Sammi.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridge- crest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling with Monty Murphy officiating.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
