William Michael Sonnenwald, 49, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on August 31, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.
Michael was born April 22, 1974 in Wheeling, WV, to William and Hazel Barker Sonnenwald.
He attended the National Road Church of Christ in Wheeling. He was an avid sports fan that loved to cheer on WVU sports and his favorite, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William & Grace Altman Sonnenwald; and his maternal grand- parents, Joseph & Elizabeth Israel Barker.
He is survived by his parents, William & Hazel Sonnenwald, and his loving cousins.

Per his wishes, Michael will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service.
