Gene Lawson Holmes, 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Saint Clairsville, OH.
He was born May 11, 1937 in Marshall County, WV a son of the late Randolph and Osie (Baker) Holmes.
Gene was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Operating Engineer's Union.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Delmer Holmes and Ron Holmes.
Surviving are his daughters, Ella Mae (Leo Weber) Holmes and Marsha (James) Martin; sons, Kevin (Janet) Holmes and Anthony (Shayna) Holmes; brother, Jim Holmes; sisters, Vera Midcap and Myrna Holstien; grandchildren, Katelyn (Chris) Weber, Daniel Holmes, Christine Holmes, Ella Holmes and Levi Holmes.
