Kathryn Ethel "Kay" Skidmore, age 72, passed away on September 25, 2023, in Lebanon, TN. She was born on August 28, 1951, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Leo and Velma (Martin) Galloway.
Kay was known for her outgoing personality and her ability to make friends wherever she went.
She worked for Marx Toys, Warwood BP/Exxon, and in home health.
Kay enjoyed coaching softball, Pittsburgh Pirates baseball, Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State, and Wheeling Park High School football. She was also an avid supporter of WV limited video lottery.
Kay will be deeply missed by her loving daughter, Jamie Galloway, her granddaughter, Kaylie Galloway (Kelby Flynn), her grandson, Brian Turner II, her great- grandson, Kellan Galloway, and her great- granddaughters, Wrenleigh and Stella Lesnett.
She was preceded in death by her beloved special friend, Ron Logan, her husband, Denzil Skidmore, her granddaughter, Ashley Baciak, and her parents, Velma Martin and Leo Galloway.
A memorial service will be held in Wheeling, WV, upon receiving Kay's ashes. She made an anatomical donation to the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN.
