Patricia Rae Norris, affectionately known as Patty Rae by her longtime companion Bill Mosa, passed away on September 29, 2023, in Wheeling at the age of 87. She was born on February 2, 1936, in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late William A. Slebodnik and Ruby (Rifenberg) Slebodnik.
Patricia worked as a self-employed housekeeper. She found joy in bowling strikes at the local lanes, taking car rides, and reading a good book.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Ernest C. Norris, III, her husband, Ernest C. Norris, II, her sister, Joyce Rutan, her father, William A. Slebodnik, and her mother, Ruby Slebodnik.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her longtime companion, Bill Mosa. Patricia is also survived by her daughter-in-law Nancy, widow of Ernest E Norris, III; her daughter, Angela Derrow, and her husband Richard of Moundsville; her daughter, Ann Jones, and her husband Robert of Moundsville; and her son, Robert Norris, and his longtime companion Kari of Wisconsin. Additionally, she leaves behind five grandchildren, Shelly Neff, Brandon Norris, Logan Jones, Nicholas Jones, and Jalah Norris; and three great-grandchildren, Chylie Norris, Cooper Norris, and November Jones.
