Ruth Ann Wiley Combs Schultz, 86, of Paramount, California, formerly of Ruby Avenue in Wheeling, died Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Sunrise Senior Living in La Palma, California.
She was born August 4, 1936 in Valley Grove, WV, daughter of the late Clarence "Bud" and Mary (Watson) Wiley.
Ruth retired as an Executive Secretary from Gulfstream, in 1992. She loved to bowl, golf and belonged to various leagues. She also volunteered for A Journey for the Blind Bowling League and other various city events.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Combs (1976) and Richard Schultz (2002).
Surviving are her step-daughters, Rhonda (Rick) Orth and Sherry (Gary) LeFevre; four step-grandchildren, Tim (Sarah) LeFevre, Andy LeFevre, Richard Orth, and Jenny Orth (Curtis) Laudenslayer; and two step-great-grandchildren, Thomas and Allison LeFevre; as well as many other extended family and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling,WV 26003 (304-242-2311) on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 11 am to 12pm. Interment to follow in West Alexander Cemetery in West Alexander, PA.
