Jack Leroy Blake, 86, of Wellsburg, WV passed away November 14, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
He was born February 1, 1937, in New Martinsville, WV to the late William "Ester" and Mae Zetta Butler Blake.
He was a retiree of Consolidation Coal Co. with 20 years of service and worked for Mark III van conversions in Ocala, FL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five brothers Curtis, Robert, James, Hubert, and Fred Blake, four sisters Opal Pollock, Beulah, Normaline Dyer, Delores Lilly.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary "Joann" Kruger Blake, two sons Terry Blake (Ruth) of Weirton, WV, Michael Blake (companion Maridell) of Wellsburg, WV, two daughters Kimberly Bland (Todd) of Hilliard, OH, Cindy Mallory (Dean) of Mechanicsville, VA, six grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023, from Noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Harry officiating at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Entombment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg WV.
