Jack Michael DiCocco Sr., 78, of Bethlehem died Friday, November 10, 2023 at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.
He was born August 1, 1945, the son of Anne Figaretti DiCocco and the late Ernest DiCocco.
Jack was a millwright for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 43 years, retiring from the Steubenville Plant; U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era; member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and the Elm Grove Eagles.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Ellen Kuca DiCocco; three children, Tina DiCocco and her fiance, Jack Benedett of Wheeling, Jack DiCocco and his wife, Meghan of Broadview, OH, Angela DiCocco of Streetsboro, OH; four siblings, Cecilia Jerrome and her husband Curtis of Wheeling, Ernest M. DiCocco and his wife Dee of Wheeling, Michael DiCocco of Wheeling, Frank DiCocco and his wife Natasha of Gibsonia, PA; two grandchildren, Jack Michael DiCocco III and Enzo DiCocco; several nieces and nephews, and his cat, Nelbert.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Rd., Bethlehem/Wheeling, with Vigil services being held at Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 690 Mt. Olivet Rd. Wheeling, WV, with Fr. Joseph Augustine as celebrant.
Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling with the Moundsville Honor Guard providing Military graveside services.
