Mildred Kathaleen "Kathie" McLaughlin Dague, 67, lifelong resident of Wheeling, WV, died Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Liza's Place.
She was born December 4, 1955, daughter of the late Warren Sr. and Mildred Francis McLaughlin.
Kathie was a graduate of Warwood High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, had a passion for decorating and was a lover of all animals. She loved being outside and could often be found drinking iced tea on her front porch.
Kathie was a force of nature that left an impression on anyone she met. She was a problem solver and would often carry the burdens of others. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
On January 14, 1989, she married the love of her life, Gary Dague, who survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Warren McLaughlin Jr.
In addition to her husband of 40 years, she is survived by her daughter, Heather (Duck) Livengood; two grandsons, Lucas and Landen; and her three fur babies, Belle, Lyza and Foxy.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at Liza's Place for taking amazing care of Kathie and her family during this difficult time.
There will be no services.
