NAOMI MILLER

She was born April 19, 1941 in Woodruff, WV the daughter of the late Timothy “Ross” and Millie McFadden.

Naomi was formerly employed at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in the dietary department, and a homemaker; a faithful member of the Hillview Terrace Church of Christ, Moundsville; enjoyed cooking, canning, quilting, word search puzzles, and her very favorite activity was spending time with her family. Whether it was a trip to Blackwater Falls or just an afternoon game of Rummy, her grand children and great- grandchildren always had an adventure with her that was full of laughter and stories. She was affectionately known as “Memaw” or MeMe” by her greatest blessings.

In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Miller on March 22, 2020, to whom she had been married for 60 years. Also preceding her were five brothers, Lotus, Delbert, Densel, Sam and Worley McFadden; and a sister, Edith Cecil.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy (Terry) McCracken; a son, Rob (Sherry) Miller, all of Cameron, WV; three grandchildren, Kelly Pettit of Moundsville, Megan Currey of Bridgeport, WV and Isaac Miller of Cameron; great- grandchildren, Carson and Millie Cate Currey, and Jasmine Jasenec, whom she thought of as a great-granddaughter. Also surviving are a brother, Ray McFadden of New Cumberland; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved yorkie, Rosie.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 1-3 and 5-7pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Monday, November 27th at 11am with Andy Robison officiating.

Interment in Joliffe Cemetery, Silver Hill, WV.
