Pat Stab, a Wheeling native and life-long member of Corpus Christi Church, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 16th. She was 88.
Pat was born March 13th, 1935 in Wheeling WV, graduated from St. Joseph's Academy and went on to work as a Registered Nurse at Wheeling Hospital for over 35 years.
She was an active volunteer throughout the Parish for decades in addition to St. Vincent de Paul Society (where she served on the board), Catholic Charities, Faith in Action and many others.
Pat is preceded in death by her son Terry Stab. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Donna, Daughters Tamela, Kathryn (Riley) and Trish (Dudley). She has seven grandchildren Danielle Gallion (Tyler) , Zach Porter (Monique), Ryan Stab (Mindy) Vivian Dudley, Leah Dudley, Sean Riley, Dylan Riley and five great- grandchildren, Eleanor Porter, Theodore Porter, Greyson Gallion and Delaney Gallion and Graeme, Terrance Stab.
Friends will be received on Sunday November 19, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling (304-277-2722).
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday November 20, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1508 Warwood Ave., Wheeling. Entombment in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum will follow Mass.
