Roger Hubbs, 82, of Moundsville, WV, died Saturday, November 25, 2023 at home.
He was born July 25, 1941 in Glen Easton, WV; the son of the late Marion K. and Helena Blake Hubbs.
Roger was a retired rural mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office and dairy farmer; a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War being awarded the Purple Heart; member of the Church of Christ, Farm Bureau, Cameron VFW, and Cameron American Legion; and a life-time member of the Marshall County Fairboard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marion.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lorraine Holmes Hubbs; two children, Tiffany Hubbs and Luke (Heather) Hubbs; four grandchildren, Alyssa and Raegan Hubbs, Hailey and Colton Wood; one brother, Pastor Rodney (Linda) Hubbs; one sister, Patty (Floyd) Rine; sister-in-law, Helena Hubbs; several nieces.
Private funeral services and interment will be held at Greenview Cemetery, Moundsville; where the Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct Military graveside services.
