SALLY ANDERSON

Sally Lou Pyles Anderson, 75, of Buck Run, Sistersville, WV, died Wednesday, 25 October at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

Sally was born Monday, 15 December 1947, in Sistersville, WV, the daughter of Victor Burdette Pyles, of Silver Hill, WV and Madeline L. Dunham of Sisterville. Sally was a lifelong resident of Wetzel County.

Sally learned the beautician's trade while helping in her mother's beauty shop as a child. Sally attended Beautician's school and when her mother retired took over "Madelines". Sally served New Martinsville and the surrounding area for over forty years.

For twelve years, Sally also served as volunteer paramedic and was on the Board of Directors for the New Martinsville Ambulance Squad. She took great pride in the squad and her service to the community.

Sally loved animals, especially dogs and cats, but she was most passionate about horses. She trained and showed quarter horses before raising and showing Arabian horses.

Surviving are cousins Hazen Pyles of Cameron, Kathryn Pyles of Arizona, Mary Pyles Kemp, and Carol Pyles Cain of Wetzel County, and her dearest best friends, Steve and Pam Hayes, along with all of the animals.

Sally requested no memorial services.
