Shirley Jean Glass Davis, age 86, of Wheeling, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at home.
She was born November 29, 1936 in Wheeling, WV; daughter of the late James and Genevieve Everson Glass.
She was a former service worker for Ohio County Schools with thirty-eight years of service; she was a member of Stone Presbyterian Church, longtime member of the Wheeling Park Boosters, and enjoyed attending many Wheeling Park athletic events.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Allen Davis, and her brother James Glass.
Survivors include her husband, of 69 years, Richard Davis; two daughters: Dara (Mike) Robrecht and Deedra "Dee" Davis, both of Wheeling; one daughter-in-law: Heather Davis of Wheeling; three grand- children: Rick (Susan) Robrecht, Denee (Gabe) White, and Derrick (Annie) Robrecht; six great grandchildren: Justin, Zach, and Nate White, Angelina and Alexa Robrecht, and Cooper Robrecht; and two sisters: Jannelle Greene and Tama (Danny) Dimmick, both of Wheeling.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Wheeling/Bethlehem.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
