Dolores Theresa Cinque, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, peacefully passed away on December 23, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 89 years old.
Born on June 26, 1934, Dolores lived a life full of love, compassion, and dedication. After completing her education, she embarked on a successful career and retired as an Administrative Assistant at Advanced Communications System in Fairfax, VA. Her commitment to excellence and her warm-hearted nature left a lasting impact on all those she worked with.
Dolores was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where she found strength and solace in her faith. She devoted herself to her parish and the various organizations that supported the church community. As a dedicated volunteer, she selflessly offered her time and energy to St. Michael's, Wheeling Hospital, and Catholic Charities Neighborhood Center.
To celebrate Dolores's remarkable life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, located at 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1pm at St. Michael Catholic Church, where Dolores found comfort and inspiration. A private family interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on a date to be determined.
