Ila Mae Johnson Clark, age 91, of Proctor, WV died Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
She was born March 4, 1932 in Silver Hill, WV the daughter of the late Morton and Mabel Dodd Johnson.
She was a retired cook from Wetzel County Schools; and was a member of Proctor Church of Christ and American Legion Post #28 Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Edward Clark; a son, Glenn "Eddie" Edward Clark, II; and two brothers, Henry and Joe Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Kari "Kim" Clark of Proctor; four grandchildren, Tony (Jennifer) Clark of Proctor, WV, Geoffrey (Tiffany) Clark of Fairmont, WV, Liz (Brandon) Fouse of Mannington, WV, and Ben (Alyssa) Clark of S. Charleston, WV; two brothers, Floyd Johnson of New Martinsville and Howard (Brenda) Johnson of Proctor; two sisters, Ruth Taylor of Wilmington, NC and Lucille (Leroy) Cecil of New Martinsville; and six great-grandchildren, Kraton, Trenton, Isaiah, Elena, Sophia, and Gabriella.
Private Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, New Martinsville.
