IRMA NIXON
Irma Jane (Rogerson) Nixon died on Friday, December 8, 2023, in her hometown of Wheeling. She was born on March 9, 1938, the daughter of George and Elsie Neidermyer Rogerson.
In addition to her parents, Irma was preceded in death by her husband Henry E. Nixon; her son William “Bill” Nixon; her sisters Grace, June, and Doris; and her brothers Sonny and Wayne.
Irma is survived by her children James (Jodi) Nixon, Gary (Kelly) Nixon, Kelly McGrail, and Richard Nixon; her grandchildren Kayla (Kevin), Jess, Ryan, Nick, Matt (Bella), Emma, and Luke; her great-grandchildren Jordan, Jersey, Lane, and Braxton; her beloved Maggie; her sister Ruth (Gerald) Cook; her brother Donald Rogerson; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 12, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Elm Grove Chapel. Funeral services will commence on Wednesday, December 13, at 11 a.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Elm Grove Chapel. Interment will directly follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
