MICHAEL WEST
Michael Ray West, born on September 7, 1952, in New Martinsville, WV, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2023, in Wheeling, WV. He was 71 years old.
Michael is survived by his wife, Janet Lynn (Rich) West, his son Adam L. West of New Martinsville, WV, and daughter, Samantha L. (Brock) Vazquez of Newport News, VA. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, Kenny West, his sister, Brenda Church, both of New Martinsville, WV. Michael’s grandchildren, Austin and Halle Vazquez, nieces and nephews, Onna (Brian) Ward of SC, Rebecca (Mike) Yates, Alexa (Tyler) Foreman, and Justin (Dallis) Rich.
Michael is reunited with his parents, Raymond and Wilda (Cross) West, his son, Matthew West, and brother, Encil West, who preceded him in death.
A private visitation will be held for the family and then at 1:00 p.m., there will be a procession to Riverview Cemetery from Altmeyer Funeral Homes, where final prayers will take place. Procession will begin at 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville WV, 26041.
