Rebecca Ann "Becky" Schlosser, 57, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital, after her incredible and brave battle with cancer.
She was born December 19, 1965, in Wheeling. Becky spent many years working as a bartender at a variety of local establishments, such as Oglebay's Glassworks, Abbey's Restaurant, PC's Irish Pub and most recently Genos on Wheeling Island.
Becky is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Schlosser; three brothers, Robert, Richard and Daniel Schlosser and her beloved furbaby companion, Gizmo.
She is survived by her mother, Mary K. (Brahler) Schlosser; her son, Joseph Walton; her sister, Karen Merritt; two brothers, James and John Schlosser and her two nieces, Gretchen and Jenny Corona.
Becky's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew her, may she rest in peace.
Family and friends will be received Monday, December 11, 2023 at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 1400 Eoff St., from 4-8 pm, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12 at 12:30 pm with Fr. Jeeson officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
