ROSEMARY KYANKO
Rosemary (Przebeszvski) Kyanko, 87, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on October 7, 1936, in Shadyside, OH a daughter of the late John and Alice (Boiarski) Przebeszvski.
Rosemary graduated from Shadyside High School and Martins Ferry School of Nursing. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and worked for Martins Ferry and Wheeling Hospital Continuous Care as a Registered Nurse.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Kyanko at home; three children, Eric (Fele) Kyanko, Mark (Mari Jo) Kyanko both of Wellsburg, WV, Stacie (Harry) West of Vernon, FL; two grandchildren, Thomas (Jackie) Kyanko, and Elizabeth (Shane) Roush; three great grandchildren, Oliver, Patrick, and Jackson; two sisters, Alice “Toots” DeFranco and Priscilla Reed of Charlottesville, VA along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rosemary’s family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice especially Amber, Darla, and Jonathan, along with Sherry Crawford for the great care Rosemary received.
A Visitation for Rosemary will be held on Monday, December 11th from 10:00 A.M. until 11:50 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 P.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 1300 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV 26070 with Father Justin Golna officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
The family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon being held in the church hall following the committal at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church specifically the Elevator Fund.
