Suzanne Kaufman, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on December 12, 2023, at WVU Medicine- Wheeling Hospital, after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends during her final moments. Suzanne was born on March 18, 1957, in Bellaire, Ohio, to the late Serge and Betty (Campbell) Gentile.
Throughout her life, Suzanne was a caring and devoted individual who cherished her family above all else. She was preceded in death by her parents, Serge and Betty Gentile, her husband, Bernard Kaufman, and her beloved son, Derek Cronk. Suzanne's memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family members, including her daughter, Jessica Cronk, and her siblings, Penny (Kim) Clifford, Brian Gentile, and Dino Gentile. She also leaves behind her devoted grandsons, Cody Kimmel and William "Blaze" Wilson, who brought immense joy to her life.
Suzanne held a special place in her heart for her dear friends, Phyllis "Peanut" Greene and Jamie Schau, who provided unwavering support throughout her journey. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews who will continue to carry her memory with love and admiration as well as Mark Cronk, the father of her children and a lifelong friend.
In accordance with Suzanne's wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. As we say our final goodbyes, let us remember Suzanne for the love she shared and the impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
